Our Mission
Chess Buddies Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the benefits of chess to children of all ages and backgrounds.
We believe that children ARE the future that will continue to inspire others for generations to come.
EVERY CHILD deserves the opportunity to enjoy chess to the fullest.

Chess is a game with endless possibilities. Unfortunately, not all of our youth have the same opportunity to immerse themselves within chess. Expensive chess programs, boards and clocks, and tournament fees prevent many of our talented youth from reaping the benefits of chess.
We will NOT allow this to pass by. We believe that every child, regardless of background, deserves an equitable opportunity to reach their maximal potential and to become an engaging member of their community. But these equitable opportunities are not a reality for everyone.
Our Approach
Our goal is to allow kids of all backgrounds to realize the educational benefits of chess.
We visit local communities and equip them with the necessary chess supplies, including boards, pieces, books, and training programs.
We passionately educate kids in order to provoke their desire to enjoy the game and to spread their joy with others in their community.
